The Health Education Campus offers its students, faculty and staff access to leading-edge technology, from a flight simulator to virtual- and mixed-reality anatomy courses.

Tech Support

Faculty, staff and students can receive in-person technology support by visiting the Tech Bar in the Cosgrove Courtyard on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Technicians can provide basic support—such as software installation, repair, printing and email—and can assist with AV equipment in the classrooms.

Digital Whiteboarding Applications

There are a few different interactive and collaborative whiteboard applications available in Samson Pavilion, each with unique features and advantages: Prysm, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Google Jamboard. Think of the possibilities for your courses with the addition of one of these interactive applications: You can set up interactive activities ahead of time, collaborate with people in class or around the world, save your workspace and come back later, edit and reuse your whiteboard notes, and so much more.

Screen Sharing

Screen sharing enables the instructor to work from their own machine if they prefer, and it increases the opportunities for whole class collaboration and information sharing. There are three major ways faculty, staff, and students can share information and/or their screens with each other in the Samson Pavilion:

Designed to inspire creativity and enable students to become active learners, Avocor interactive displays create a collaborative learning environment that is easy to use. The 86-inch Avocor Interactive Display units with integrated Windows 10 PC are wall mounted in several areas throughout Samson Pavilion.
